They’ve been on all the year’s ‘best of’ lists, and it’s because the Brooklyn band led by Adrianne Lenker released two incredible albums in 2019 – ‘U.F.O.F’ and ‘Two Hands’ – which made us believe in the power of guitars again. After their first two albums were recorded with the rather modest label Saddle Creek, they’ve hit the big time with the prestigious British label 4AD. With this, the indie group certainly proves that there’s a lot left to explore in the world of American folk rock.
