BCN Gin Tunes & Roses: Cathy Claret

Self-taught and nomadic by nature, French artist Cathy Claret was a surprise with her early albums – 'Cathy Claret' (1989) and 'Soleil and Madness' (1990) – she's pretty much been wowing ever since. She's done celebrated collaborations with the Amador brothers in Pata Negra era that were put into circulation on her song 'Bolleré'. In her hands, rumba and flamenco acquire a dimension between naive and transgressive. And now, with a new album in the works, Claret has chosen to make her Barcelona comeback at Jamboree.
