Barcelona Municipal Band: New Year's Eve Concert

Every year around this time the Barcelona Municipal Band puts on a festive concert, and this year they're offering a double session. The two concerts are directed by Salvador Brotons, who specializes in this type of concert. You'll be able to enjoy works by Russian composers, among them, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky, as well as the traditional waltzes and polkas from the Strauss family. Featured guest soloist is Menorcan pianist Kíev Portella.
