Time Out says

Ethiopian Hailu Mergia (8.15pm), a pioneer in the updating of the tradition of African music by injecting it with jazz and funk, kicks off the second night of BAM in the Plaça dels Àngels, which carries on with London's United Vibrations (9.45pm), who look at jazz from the south, with Ethiopian jazz and Afrobeat as some of their influences, but who don't stray too far from experimental rock and improvisation; from Mallorca it's Oso Leone (11.15pm), from whom fans are dying to hear a third album; and French pianist, composer, arranger and music director Christophe Chassol (12.45am), with his personal project.
