BAM 2015: Vetiver + Ryley Walker + Yasmine Hamdan

Folk, pop and electronic mixes with world music are the star of this triple concert headlined by Vetiver (12.45am), a pet project of Andy Cabic's. Since 2004 Cabic has released albums under the name, and tonight he performs tracks from his sixth album, 'Complete Strangers' (2015). Ryley Walker (11.15pm), a young singer-songwriter from the American Midwest whose music evokes that of British folk such as Bert Jansch and Nick Drake, presents his second album, 'Primrose Green' (2015). Yasmine Hamdan (9.45pm) is a Lebanese singer-songwriter who was first known as part of the 1990s duo Soapkill, pioneers of Middle Eastern alternative pop and electronica and who made her solo debut with 'Ya Nass' (2013), full of melodic songs with acoustic guitars and electronic textures that combine different Arabic dialects.
