British singer-songwriter Jane Weaver (7.30pm), originally from Liverpool, who was part of the early 1990s band Kill Laura during the emergence of Britpop and of the folktronic cuartet Misty Dixon at the start of the 2000s, moves along the border of elegant pop with electronic tones of her latest solo album, 'The Silver Globe' (2014), which she'll present at BAM tonight. Weaver shares the bill with Lonelady (8.30pm), a group formed by fellow Brit Julie Ann Campbell; theirs is an angled electronic pop with touches of synthetic funk, heir to the post-punk sounds of the 1980s. Also taking the stage are Canadian band Solids (10pm), who are reminiscent of stars of the 1990s such as Dinosaur Jr., Mudhoney and Superchunk.
