The trio from Berlin Brandt Brauer Frick (10.45pm) have shown they can do techno without machines. In three albums published between 2010 and 2013, the band have been able to turn any electronic track into a score, creating techno with acoustic instruments – piano, violin, cello, harp, trombone, tuba and percussion – in place of synthesizers and computers. In this BAM double concert, they share the bill with British musician Roseau (aka Kerry Leatham), who presents 'Salt', a bold yet intimate album full of futuristic electronic pop, which tells stories of love and gives snapshots of modern life, in all its miseries and marvels.
