It's the ninth edition of the traditional concert at the Old Estrella Damm Factory that's part of the Mercè festivities and BAM Festival every September. The big international draw at this year's concert is London trio Klaxons (10pm), here four years after their second album 'Surfing the Void' (2010) with their 2014 release, 'Love Frequency'. This new album picks up where their celebrated 2007 debut, 'Myths of the Near Future', left off, with more danceable beats mixing synthesizers with 90s dance and the contemporary EDM. Mishima (8.30pm) is the big Catalan band on the bill. Since the release of 'El ansia que cura' (2014), their seventh studio album, the Barcelona quintet is busier and more popular than ever since they started out 15 years ago. Kicking the session off are local band Coriolà (7pm), who, after finishing second in the Sona9 competition, released the EP 'L'escalfor' (2013), and later that year they released their first LP, 'El debut'. Produced by Miqui Puig, the group attributes the brightness of their classic pop that appeals to nostalgia and emotions to the former Sencillos.
