Africanism at the CCCB: Anita Zengeza + animated film + DJ Cucurucho

It's the second of three nights of music and film brought to you by the CCCB and Radio Africa, and the programme kicks off with a selection of tunes by DJ Cucurucho (9.30pm), cofounder of the Groovalizacion collective. Next up it's a screening of animated films by African film-makers (10pm), followed by a concert from singer, guitarist, pianist and composer Anita Zengeza (10.30pm) from Zimbabwe, who mixes sounds and coloures that have their inspiration in many different cultures and Zengeza's personal experiences.
