It's the first event of this year's 'A Taste of Sónar+D by Mazda Rebeldes', a series of concerts with unconventional instruments, disruptive technologies and new scenic experiences that serve as an introduction to Sónar+D, the international congress on creativity, technology and business on in Barcelona on June 16 to 18 in tandem with the Sónar music festival.
The first show headliner is Canadian artist Martin Messier, who presents 'FIELD', his new project that converts visual and audio radiofrequencies that are imperceptible to the human eye and ear into sounds – in the form of an electric storm – and visible lightning. Beforehand, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center presents surprising findings from the social experiment 'You know what you did last Sónar', which analyzed the big data of the attendees' movements during the festival. A fascinating lecture on human behaviour, as seen by the most advanced supercomputer in Spain.
