A Taste of Sónar+D: autopsy.glass, de Myriam Bleau

'A Taste of Sónar+D by Mazda' is back at the Espai Mazda in the Born. This is a series of live shows with unconventional instruments, disruptive technologies and new stage experiences that serve to complement Sónar+D.

This session features multi-intrumentalist, composer and digital artist from Montreal Myriam Bleau, who explores the sound and visual possibilities of glass to create tension in audience members. In her show 'autopsy.glass', Bleau manipulates glasses until she breaks them, whether that's done delicately or violently, and so she gets a range of sounds that are light and resonant or sharp and abrupt.
