50th Voll-Damm Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona: The Bad Plus

Every one of the trio The Bad Plus's concerts offers a brand-new adventure. After one of the founders and former pianist Ethan Iverson left (you'll still be able to see him perform at the festival in a duo act with Mark Turner), the band has changed significantly with the arrival of Iverson's replacement, Orrin Evans, but the essence remains the same. They present their latest album, 'Never Stop II', the first with Evans on piano. Despite the change in personnel, the style is still very much that of The Bad Plus, and you'll get their usual intensity, exuberance, and magic.
