49th Voll-Damm Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona: Chucho Valdés-Gonzalo Rubalcaba

The duo of Chucho Valdés and Gonzalo Rubalcaba join in the Jazz Festival with a great lesson in piano based on the music of Thelonious Monk. 'Trance' is the name of this much-anticipated project that features the duo with two pianos, one facing the other, played by two of the most important musicians of our times, both recipients of the Festival's Gold Medal. Their collaboration is the fruit of the deep spiritual connection that Chucho and Gonzalo feel through music in all its forms.
