49th Voll-Damm Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona: Chick Corea-Steve Gadd Band

Last year after he celebrated his 75th anniversary with New York's Blue Note by playing for nearly two months with various projects in the Big Apple, Chick Corea wanted to dedicate the second part of 2017 to a new path: a band that he leads for the first time with Steve Gadd, the first drummer of Return to Forever, who any passionate fan of percussion knows and with whom Corea has written various pieces. Both head up a multinational sextet with regular collaborators of Corea's: Lionel Loueke from Benin on guitar, Cuban Carlitos del Puerto on electric bass and double bass, Venezuelan Luisito Quintero on percussion; and great American saxophone player Steve Wilson.
