47th Voll-Damm Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona: Mark Turner & Orquestra Jazz de Matosinhos

Following their splendid concert concert last year with Kurt Rosenwinkel, the prestigious and always-busy Orquesta Jazz de Matoshinos (OJM) invites another of the most influential musicians in recent jazz history to perform with them: American sax player Mark Turner, who also featured in one of the biggest nights of the festival last year. Under the title 'Sargaço', the orchestra, whose upcoming concerts include engagements at New York's Blue Note and in the large hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus, offers up original music and special arrangements of Turner's own music.
