Time Out says

The marriage between klezmer (traditional Jewish music from Eastern Europe) and jazz has had its own name for the last 20 years: Kroke ('Krakow' in Yiddish). This Polis trio – accordion, viola and double bass – have great improvisational skills and gradually move into other Eastern rhythms, the likes of which you could hear at both weddings and funerals. Kroke has gained full recognition as an institution of European music of the first order, from jazz to contemporary music, from classical to world music.
