Member of the most iconic and celebrated jazz trio in recent decades alongside Keith Jarrett and Gary Peacock, Jack DeJohnette is also, as he proved years ago in the Palau de la Música in a tribute to Tony Williams, a brilliant composer and band leader. With the versatile clarinetist and saxophonist Don Byron as the trio's special guest, DeJohnette confirms his place as a revolutionary drummer in the world of modern jazz. He's just turned 70, but can lay claim to having kept beat for bands backing Miles Davis, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock.
