When Norwegian musician Bugge Wesseltoft burst onto the scene some years ago at the same time as the super-busy label Jazzland was looking for something new, a door was opened to a powerful sound that came from the north of Europe. Six years after his solo piano recital at the festival at Luz de Gas, Wesseltoft is back with his latest adventure, a multinational septet without borders in which the flamenco guitar of Josemi Carmona is found on the same stage as percussion from India and Mozambique, a Lebanese voice, and the piano of Wesseltoft himself.
