Nouvelle Vague was founded and fronted by Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux with the help of various studio musicians and vocalists. They started out playing lounge-style and bossa nova versions of new wave and post-punk songs, and now they're back with their 2016 album 'I Could Be Happy'. The new LP includes four original songs they created in collaboration with former singers of the group Élodie Frege, Mélanie Pain, Liset Alea and Nadeah, and guests like Clara Luciani and Camille, the latter of whom lends her voice to a narcotic version of The Ramones' 'I Wanna Be Sedated'.
