17th Banc Sabadell Festival del Mil·lenni: Micah P. Hinson

It's been more than a decade since Micah P. Hinson burst onto the musical scene as one of those phenomena that are so rare that in a manner of seconds audiences and critics were equally wowed. Where'd he come from? His tormented personal life – complete with various addictions and a stint in jail – added a bit of intrigue to a voice that seemed like it belonged more to a Mississippi bluesman than that 23-year-old white kid. Over time he's become a sort of Johnny Cash for the indie generation.
