16th Banc Sabadell Festival del Mil·lenni: Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox

Pianist Scott Bradlee has become the most viral pop sensation after creating a series of clips on YouTube in which he and the band Postmodern Jukebox do versions of 21st-century pop songs with a vintage twist. They transformed Miley Cyrus’s hit ‘We Can’t Stop’ into a ’50s doo-wop, Mackelmore’s ‘Thrift Shop’ into a ’20s jazz hit, and they even dared to alter Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky,’ giving it a folky, Irish feel. You’ll also find Ke$ha’s ‘Die Young’ amongs their repertoire, sung in a pure country style.
