BARTS (Barcelona Arts on Stage) (CLOSED)

Formerly the Arteria Paral·lel, the theatre that opened its doors in 2010 under the umbrella of the Sociedad General de Autores y Editores, itself built where Studio 54 and the Gran Teatro Español once stood (the latter inaugurated in 1909 and known for its French vaudeville shows and operettas), since 2013 is now BARTS (Barcelona Arts on Stage). The space is managed by promoters The Project, and has two rooms: the main one has a capacity of between 900 (seated) and 1,500 (seated and standing), and the club lounge holds up to 130.
