Time Out says

For eight days from December 27 to January 4, the Fira de Barcelona venue (more usually home to international conferences) becomes a paradise for children, with a universe of games and workshops for the younger family members. Among the numerous activities that you'll find at this year's event are interactive and sensory technological workshops, games based on environmentally friendly concepts and recycling, zip lines and climbing walls for the adventurous, and any number of sporting activities such as electric bikes, obstacle courses and other game areas. And that's not all: there are also concerts, puppet shows, crafts, and cooking courses. Teens have got a dedicated space with the XD Young Fest zone, aimed at the over-14s. And fans of Peppa Pig will be happy to know that the Festival de la Infancia have organised a daily, four-hour micro-festival ('A Day with Peppa'), where you'll find a reconstruction of the popular little piggy's world.
