Parador de Cardona

This striking parador, which is also a museum, is one of the largest Catalan castles, and the dependencies of the salt lords, which include the Minyona tower and the Collegiate church of Sant Vicenç, a Catalan Romanesque gem. For one night you will feel like viscounts, earls and dukes and live a (Gothic) fairy tale. Its 54 rooms are decorated in Medieval style with four-poster beds and offer views of town, the Cardoner valley and the saltworks. In the restaurant, you can try grilled lamb and patates emmascarades, among other dishes.
