Advertising

After a long day of holidaymaking (y’know, soaking up all those incredible sights, attractions and things to do), there’s nothing better than slipping into a hot tub – preferably with a glass of something ice cold and fizzy in hand. From rooftop hot tubs and private balcony tubs to hot tubs where you can take in the sea-views as well as the bubbles, here are the best hotels in Barcelona to get your soak on. So take a look below and make your city break to the Catalan capital complete with one of these very fine Barcelona hotels. Go on, you totally deserve it.

Barcelona’s best hotel hot tubs

The One Barcelona GL

This stunner of a hotel is just yards away from Gaudí’s wavy La Pedrera building and the ornate shopping avenue Passeig de Gràcia. But to get there you’ll have to tear yourself away from the rooftop plunge pool and its panoramic views, which we reckon will be no easy feat.

Hotel Miramar Barcelona GL

You could be topping your tan up on the beach within 20 minutes, but we doubt you’ll be able to drag yourself away from this boutique hotel’s gorgeous pool with its Insta-worthy views across the Med. Plus, guests can make use of The hotel's L´Occitane Spa, which features an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, pressure showers and treatment cabins. They don’t come much more luxurious than this.

Sunotel Club Central

Not only is this smart-looking hotel a ten-minute stroll from Passeig de Gràcia, with its Gaudi monuments and designer shops, it comes with its own terrace-side hot tub and swimming pool, which will be heating up nicely in the Barcelona sun while you explore the sights. Bliss!

Gaudint Barcelona Suites

If you’d rather have the hot tub all to yourself, these stylish suites should hit the spot. For maximum chilled vibes, get the bubbles flowing after a day out exploring the nearby Guinardó Park or spend the evening lounging in a rooftop hammock.

Sunotel Central

The tree-lined Ramblas and its colourful, beckoning street performers are just a ten-minute walk away from this nice-looking hotel, as is the Universitat Metro Station. But if you fancy a lazy day in the sunshine, just make your way to the rooftop pool and jacuzzi.

Poolhouses – Pink house

This jacuzzi might not come with a rooftop view – but it does come with plenty of character. This Pink Poolhouse is homely without feeling cluttered, and with six bedrooms, it’s spacious enough for a large family holiday or a mates’ getaway. Just don’t all aim for the tub at once.

Catalonia Avinyo

When you can be lounging on the beach within 15 minutes of leaving your room, we can forgive this hotel for its grafitti art work. Digging those urban bedroom murals or just after a jacuzzi out on the decking? It’s all yours.

Poolhouses – Blue House

With three bedrooms, this charming poolhouse (the blue equivalent of the Pink Poolhouse) is perfect for a more intimate holiday. The tub is small but perfectly formed and you’re just a couple miles from the Picasso Museum by public transport, if you fancy soaking up some culture after you’ve dipped your toes in.

Hotel Grums Barcelona

Take breakfast on the terrace before hitting the streets of Barcelona, where the buzzing La Rambla and Parallel Metro Station are just a 15-minute stroll away. If you want to use the hot tub, Finnish sauna or steam bath, it’ll cost you – but it’s a small price to pay for total relaxation, right?

Hotel & Spa Cala del Pi

This gorgeous mosaiced tub is just a delicious cherry on the top of a seriously luxurious cake, which offers direct access to Platja d’Aro’s Cala del Pi Beach, rooms that ooze style and a very good-looking swimming pool with totally amazing views of the sea. If you’re planning on pushing the boat out, this is the ocean liner you’ve been waiting for.
