Gay Pride 2014: Freedom Barcelona Awards

This year's Pride festivities get underway with a new Freedom Barcelona awards ceremony to honour individuals, institutions and groups on the national and international LGBT stage who have worked more or better for freedom, humanity and culture. The awards, which will be given out during a gala at the Teatre Principal, will kick off the Catalan Gay Pride celebration. Among the recipients are the singer Macaco, BCN Activa, LGBT sport club Panteres Grogues, Dr Bonaventura Clotet, Fashion Revolution Day and socialist politician Pedro Zerolo.
