Time Out says

'Out in the Dark' (Israel, 2012) explores the difficult and complex relationship between a Palestinian and an Israeli who fall in love. Nimer, originally from Ramallah, fights for a better future and gets to continue his studies in psychology in Tel Aviv. In a bar there he meets Roy, a young Israeli lawyer from a wealthy family. The attraction is immediate, but the shaky political and military situation affects their lives, putting them in danger and threatening Nimer with deportation.
