Canada and the U.S. east coast, the 1970s. In the wake of the rise of feminism, lesbians claimed another place, another voice, another way to live their lives. Gathering together testimonials of those who one day decided to live their lives surrounded only by women, and collecting archives of photos and videos, Myriam Fougères has undertaken a long journey from Montreal to Texas, via New York. Her documentary (Canada, 2012) gives voice to early activists, with their revolutionary spirit still intact, but it reminds us that it was very subversive at the time to say, 'I am a lesbian.'
