Set in modern-day Iran, ‘Facing Mirrors’ (Iran, 2012) tells the story of an unusual and risky friendship that fluorishes despite social norms and religious beliefs. It's the first feature-length film from Iranian director Negar Azarbayjani, and the first film from Iran with a transgender main character.
