An inviting entrance, pillar-box red, is a beacon of cheer on one of Barcelona’s less salubrious streets. Inside, the three Fernández sisters have created a bright and unpretentious bar/restaurant that specialises in wine and food from their native León. Alongside 'cecina' (dried venison), gammon and sausages from the region are lighter, Mediterranean dishes and generous salads; smoked salmon with mustard and dill; pasta filled with wild mushrooms; and sardines with a citrus escabeche. When booking, be advised that there are two separate sittings – 9.15pm and 11.20pm.
