Quentin Tarantino showed us loads of his cinephile influences in this film starring a vengeful Uma Thurman clad in a yellow tracksuit, from his taste for martial arts (Sonny Chiba included) to his fondness for westerns. Unwilling to edit some of the footage, Tarantino had to release the film in two parts.
