Americana 2015: Transparent

The 'Movistar Series' section of the Americana 2015 film series includes television programmes as well. This time it's 'Transparent', which won two 2014 Golden Globes, for Best TV Comedy Series and Best Actor for the fantastic Jeffrey Tambor. Tambor plays Mort Pfefferman, a recently retired university professor who decides to gather his three adult children together to tell them that he's always felt like a woman and that from now on he's going to live as one. Each of his kids tries to deal with the news as well as their own existential crises.
