Prestigious US astronomer Carl Sagan wrote the novel this film is based on, about a scientist (Jodie Foster) who's obsessed with establishing contact with signals from outerspace. Ahead of the film, there's a concert of jazz and groove fusion music with the Anita Zengeza Band (9pm).
