Time Out says

Jim Jarmusch. UK, France, German, Greece, 2013. Original language, Spanish subtitles. 123'.

Jim Jarmusch's latest film is a story of immortal love between two highly intelligent and sophisticated bohemian vampires (Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston) who have to fight daily against their basic instinct for blood and against the fact that they have to hide their true identities. Set in modern-day decadent and post-industrial Detroit, and in Tangier with romantic airs, the film is an exercise in fascinating style where the filmmaker conveys a love of knowledge and artistic creation, but also the profound disapointment with the direction humanity has taken. A minimal story full of tenderness and irony, far from the usual truculent vampire film. (Read the Time Out review.)
