In the context of Trump's United States, with a rise in racism and attacks on the rights of LGBT+ people, a gay men's chorus decides to embark on a week-long tour of the American south, where Evangelical Christianity is entrenched. Some of the 300 men who make up the choir have suffered terrible rejection, marginalization and harassment – in fact some of them come from the south and were forced to leave. Still they're willing to 'learn to dance with the storm', and try to change the situation through music and intimacy. 'Gay Chorus Deep South' is a documentary directed by David Charles Rodrigues.
