A legendary film. Welles was inspired by William Randolph Hearst, the American newspaper tycoon, and revolutionised cinema. The story of a reporter who delves into the life of the tycoon to find out the meaning behind his final word, 'Rosebud', marked a new period in film history. Before the screening at Sala Montjuïc, the jazz quartet led by Leslie Helpert and Albert Vila will play a concert dedicated to the music of Billie Holiday (8.45pm).
