Thelma Dickinson is an Arkansas housewife tired of her marriage to a man who treats her like an object. Louise Sawyer works as a waitress and goes out with a guitarist with commitment issues. One weekend, the two friends head off in Louise's green Thunderbird to escape the monotony and frustrations of their daily lives. The trip, which is supposed to be fun and cathartic, eventually takes a turn they didn't expect. Before the screening, you can enjoy a live show by the Swing Vandals (8.45pm), a jazz and swing band with 'manouche' influences.
