Film that has caused controversy down the years due to the extreme violence contained in some of its scenes, but that also sees director Kubrick create a work of pure visual impact. The beating sound of 'Singing in the rain' or the Ludovico brainwashing technique, which caused lesions to the cornia of the film's star, Malcolm McDowell, cannot be wiped from the mind.
