Terry Gilliam was inspired by 'La Jettée' (1962), by Chris Marker, to create a sci-fi film that would be a real challenge for viewers. A man travels through time to try and avoid an epidemic that will bring humankind to an end. A fascinating movie with one of the genre's best scripts.
