Renowned artist Trajal Harrell, considered one of the most important choreographers of the new generation revisits the history of contemporary dance with this work based on an imaginary meeting between the aesthetics of the Judson Church (progressive church that supported avant-garde artistic movements starting in the 1950s) and the historic tradition of Voguing, which, before Madonna popularized it, was a social dance done in New York's Harlem and especially by black and Latino gays, transvestites and transsexuals in the 1960s.
