Time Out says

From December 18 to 20 it's time for the third edition of IN SITU – a contemporary dance exhibition in the Claustro Santa Mónica, in the Arts Santa Mónica gallery. The two-day programme will show off some of Barcelona's up-and-coming dancers and choreographies. IN SITU was born out of a look into the current contemporary dance scene, specifically in the field of independent creators who develop their work without any infrastructure of support, and who find themselves somewhere between the well-established and the freshest newcomers. For that reason the show sets out to support this field creating an exhibition where the collective can show off their work. There will be a selection of six pieces from emerging artists who are developing their own artistic language and divided into three main concepts.

The first, 'El cos com a medi' ('The Body as a Medium') is integrated into the pieces by Quim Bigas Bassart ('Appraisers') and Amaranta Velarde González 'Hacia una estética de la buena voluntad' ('Towards an Aesthetic of Goodwill'), which you can see on Thursday, December 18. The second concept, called 'Explorant els límits del gènere escènic' ('Exploring the Boundaries of the Stage Genre'), which is on Friday, December 19, consists of the piece by Diana Gadish Bonàs, 'Lucy Live', and that of María García Vera, 'Micrologia Segunda: El descenso de Facunda Volupta' ('Second Micrology: The descent of Facunda Volupta'). Finally, on Saturday, December 20, it's the third and last concept, titled 'Friccions entre el moviment i el llenguatge' ('Frictions Between Movement and Language'), with 'Susobra' by Laila Tafur Santamaría, and Joâo Lima's 'Morder la lengua' ('Bite Your Tongue').
