Homen torto

As part of its series dedicated to Brazil, the Mercat de les Flors presents two days featuring three solos created and performed by Eduardo Fukushima, choreographer, dancer and teacher in Sao Paolo since 2004. 'Homen Torto' is an uncomfortable piece, an asymetric dance that shows us a body that's weak but has the energy of a strong body, a creation that insists on bringing opposites together: hardness and softness, weakness and strength, proximity and remoteness of the audience, balance and imbalance, fluidity and rupture of movement inside and outside the body.
