Ciutat Flamenco 2014: Sol Picó (with Candela Peña & La Shica)

Sol Picó, Candela Peña and La Shica work together in 'La piel del huevo te lo da', a piece that explores the role of women in today's society, making its debut at Ciutat Flamenco. Why, you may wonder, in these times of political correctness, when there are constant reminders of Western women's equal opportunities, is it still necessary to open roads we've already travelled down? The three artists will exchange roles and, accompanied by live music, interrelate, and look for and find each other. From flamenco, a world they're not alien to but neither are they experts in, they peer into the universe of the female.
