Translated as 'Clap hands, a space for improvisation', this is a setting where artists can strategise, employing concepts set apart from what they’re accustomed to. A place where recognized creators in dance and flamenco exchange artistic ideas based on their knowledge and on improvisation. With three individual improvisations linked together by flamenco singing by María Muñoz-Mal Pelo, Colin Dunne, Halgren Hansegård and Niño de Elche, we’ll be witnesses to this demonstration of how, even from such far corners of the earth (Catalonia, Ireland, Norway and Elche), the legacy and influence of Carmen Amaya is something they all have in common.
