Ciutat Flamenco 2013: Romances

In the words of creator and director Juan Kruz Díaz de Garaio Esnaola, ‘“Romances” is, above all, my encounter with Rafael Estévez and Valeriano Paños, and with Sandra Carrasco, and through them with flamenco: an artistic and intrinsically human endeavour, that we dive into with all of our experiences, our universes, our curiosities, interests and observations, and through which I would like to explore my likely unusual approach to the flamenco style, have a dialogue among us and, further, with the audience, that goes beyond the pure flamenco elements and transcends them.’
