Barcelona Comedy Festival's Funniest FICer 2019

The Barcelona Comedy Festival (aka Festival Internacional de Comedia, or FIC) once again goes on the hunt for the best amateur comic in the city. The bar has been raised every year, and even friendly rivalries have developed over the last 12 months, so you can expect it to get quite competitive. This year's contest is in the same format as always: twenty-seven hopefuls start out, and three elimination rounds produce just nine contestants for a final with only one winner who gets some big prizes with help from sponsor Stoke Travel. The Funniest FICer competition has become the annual focus for the ever-burgeoning local amateur English-language comedy scene in Barcelona.
