Umek + Playless

When he started DJing, Slovenian producer Umek only had pirate tapes of people like Laibach: at that time the techno scene behind the Iron Curtain was nonexistent. Of course that didn't hurt him too much: Umek stays away from subtlety, and his four-deck sets are just the thing to bring any party to a climax with dark techno, loaded with tribal loops and a strong influence by Front 242.
