Mira 2016: Jackenpopp + Zombectro + Lone + Konx-om-Pax

Barcelona's digital arts festival returns again with a focus on the union between electronic music and live visual arts. This first free day includes talks from Hamill Industries, Internet Age Media, Marcel Weber, Lee Gamble and Dave Gaskarth. You can also check out the performance by British artist Matthew Cutler (aka Lone), whose electronica is full of stereo beats, hip hop, house, rave and Detroit techno, along with visuals by Tom Scholefield (Konx-om-Pax), and Chris Boot's drums. Jankenpopp & Zombectro explain their Windows 93 project, a very particular tribute to the Windows 95 OS but one that's much more sassy, fun and attractive. The technology-mad duo will also perform a live show full of video-console pixels and music.
