Dave Sumner (aka Function) is one of the big heroes of underground techno. He's a member of the Sandwell District collective and has been a resident DJ in Berlin's Berghain, he releases music on Berghain's Ostgut Ton record label and is one of the owners of the Infrastructure New York label. In 2013 he released his seminal album, 'Incubation'.
