Checkpoint: Onur Özer + Sonodab + Sbri

Checkpoint is a weekly party put on in the Teatre Principal that looks to explore the relationship between avant-garde art and techno music. The lighting is brought to you by artist Daniel Marazuela Prada: sculpture by Samira 'Night by Night' Allaoui, who exhibited in London's Tate Modern; there will be a video mapping from Italian Morgan '2r1 Sibilio; holographic projections from 4lumen directed by Tony Fernandez; and 20 paintings by Raffa Normal.

Onur Özer comes from Istanbul, and it's Alex Knoblauc and Stephan Bolch's Berlin label Vakant giving Özer the chance to tour Europe presenting his new album, 'Kasmir', full of minimal techno with airs of popular Turkish music that he's loved since he was a kid.
